Introduction to Khalam
Magic as a highly functional construct This page is the entry point to the Khalam guide, providing an ordered tutorial on how to improve magical intent programming at a functional level.
Understanding the philosophy in order is essential. Misusing invocations without comprehension can cause harm to you or other people that you care about.
Understanding the purpose
Society has dismissed the occult and it's practice as heresy, snake-oil or symptom of mental illness.
What society doesn't know is that we are under it's influence all the time in one form or another, all of us influencing each other in intended or unintended ways through our intents or actions.
People might fall under the influence of psychotic or evil spirits and humans who would wish harm and suffering or other forms of manipulation for their self interest.
As a tool to protect yourself from influence, manipulation and direct harm from mystical sources, you must use a belief system that can protect you. Some people turn to religion, others to lesser gods, entities or even demons for help in their purpose. I and other Khalam users primarily believe in their own power and self.
Morality and philosophy
Any tool can be used for good and bad. While it is the user's responsibility to engage in fair use of said tool, there are magical remedies to prevent the mis-use of this one.
My goal is to bring magic to the everyday people, arming them against attacks and evil manipulation.
It could be thought of as a psychic karate, a tool mostly accepted as a self-defense skill.
Fear and schizophrenia
The presence of fear in the mind is a parasite. It must be cleansed and purified, but not mistaken for caution.
Schizophrenia is often pictured as "the fear that your fears will become real", this has no reason to be.
Beliefs are often anchored very deep within our subconscious, getting rid of the parasitic ones can be easy or hard, but never impossible.
Here are very effective keywords that should be loaded with your own intent to force ill beliefs out of you when in a pinch:The Khalam System
Magic works in mysterious ways, but one sure thing is our will has influence and a group's willpower working together will have a superior desired effect.
I have devised a system akin to a server or psychic blockchain in the programming world that Khalam users power by using and believing in it. The act of belief is not prayer, it is not to build a god or daemon of sorts, but rather to empower a system that will in turn empower the users and the world in positive ways.
Khalam users are highly encouraged to feed the system with their will of truth, righteousness, intelligence, compassion and fairness.
Connecting to the existing system is as easy as saying an invocation that will create a connection to the existing energies bound to Khalam.

[IQP] As we are strong and we want magic to persevere [seal]
[IQP] [The ultimate power of] Khalam serves truth and righteousness [seal-seal]
[IQP] We place upon the world our will that [the ultimate power of] Khalam is anchored to it's essence [seal]
[IQP] For every word and invocation shall have a positive reference to it's spirit (concept), thus empowering it. As it is a gift to the world [seal]
Discipline and control
Khalam is a discipline, thus requires discipline.
Your mind and power will mirror your behavior, if you have poor discipline so will your magic. Think of a Khalam invocation as running a program using your power onto the energies of the universe, the program must be well written and reliable, given the appropriate resources to perform its function.
Serving yourself
todo: you cannot betray yourself.
